The Delaware Water Gap Area Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring a soapbox race in our town. Race day is scheduled for Saturday July 26, 2008. All racers (even pre-registered) must sign in at the trackside registration desk by No later than 8:00am. No registrations will be accepted after 8:00am This is a fun race using the randomly assigned cars that are provided by the Chamber and area businesses. Participation is limited to the first 64 racers (12-14 in each age group) between the ages of 8 and 12 with a maximum weight limit of 125 to 130 pounds. Registration fee - $10.00 payable to the DWGCC.
